Dinah Parums studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. She did her PhD in Pathology at the University of Cambridge.
Dr Dinah Parums did her higher specialist training in Histopathology in Oxford where she held the posts of Clinical Lecturer and then Clinical Tutor in Pathology before taking the examinations for membership of the Royal College of Pathologists in 1991.
Dr Dinah Parums became a Senior Lecturer & Consultant Histopathologist at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital in 1993. She has trained junior doctors, taught medical students and postgraduates and supervised students for higher degrees.
Dr Dinah Parums left the NHS in 2003 to work full time in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry on targeted therapies to treat human cancer.
Dr Dinah Parums has published more than 40 scientific and clinical papers, edited a book, contributed book chapters and worked as a scientific editor.
